Calm before the storm (season)?

Natural Gas futures have been noticeably quiet in 2007, especially given the run-up in the Oil sector this year. Ample supplies in storage – currently standing at 1.546 tcf – are the main culprit in the lackluster trading action. However, cash Natural Gas prices are starting to firm up, as energy companies turn to Natural Gas to operate their power plants while seasonal maintenance takes place on their nuclear facilities.
