Wheat Futures Continue To Struggle On Weak Demand:

Wheat futures continue to struggle on weak demand: 2006 has been a roller coaster year for Wheat traders, as drought conditions in the spring initially sent prices sharply higher. Now, weaker than expected export demand has put Wheat bears back in control. December Wheat has closed lower the past five days, with commodity fund selling dominating the market. Export sales remain well below USDA estimates for the season, as high prices have made US Wheat uncompetitive in the world market.
